Aqua-Phobic Application Guide
Aqua-Phobic is a professional-grade, ultra-concentrated ceramic infused surface protection formula. Because of its concentration level, how you mix and apply it matters just as much as the product itself. Follow these guidelines and you’ll get the full durability and gloss this formula is built to deliver.
The Golden Rules
Never apply Aqua-Phobic straight from the bottle. Dilution is mandatory skipping this step will cause permanent spotting on your paint. Always use distilled water when mixing. Tap water contains minerals that interfere with the ceramic polymers and prevent a proper bond to your clear coat. Only apply to a clean, wet surface in the shade. If the paint is hot to the touch, walk away and let the vehicle cool down completely before you start. Once applied, rinse it off with in 15-30 seconds. do not let it dwell and never let it dry on the surface. Keep Aqua-Phobic away from matte paint, vinyl wraps, paint protection film.
How to Mix It
Always use distilled water. Mix in the batch size that matches your application method below.
Trigger Sprayer — 1 Gallon Batch
∙ Maximum Protection (10–12 months) — 2 oz Aqua-Phobic + 126 oz distilled water
∙ Standard Protection (6–8 months) — 1.25 oz Aqua-Phobic + 126.75 oz distilled water
∙ Maintenance Mix (3–4 months) — 0.5 oz Aqua-Phobic + 127.5 oz distilled water
Foam Cannon — 16 oz Bottle
∙ Maximum Protection (10–12 months) — 1.5 oz Aqua-Phobic + 14.5 oz distilled water
∙ Standard Protection (6–8 months) — 1 oz Aqua-Phobic + 15 oz distilled water
∙ Maintenance Mix (3–4 months) — 0.25 oz Aqua-Phobic + 15.75 oz distilled water
Foam cannon results will vary depending on your pressure washer’s GPM and your cannon hardware. Always start with the recommended mix. If your foam is too thin to give uniform coverage, increase by 0.25 oz increments and retest before adjusting further.
Applying It
Start with a thorough wash and full rinse. Every trace of soap, grit, and debris needs to be off the surface before Aqua-Phobic goes on. Work in the shade, one or two panels at a time. Whether you’re using a foam cannon or a trigger sprayer, apply to the wet surface and rinse immediately. Dry each panel with a clean premium microfiber towel and move to the next section. Do not rush the drying step a thorough dry is what reveals the gloss and ensures no residue is left behind.
