The everyday spray sealant. Refill by the gallon. AQUA-SLYDE, formerly Dual Action 2.0, is the everyday SiO₂ spray sealant in the AQUA lineup: buy the bottle once, refill it from the gallon, and keep your own sprayer.

It adds gloss, slickness and water beading to paint, glass and exterior trim. It works inside and outside the vehicle and is safe on all surfaces. Spray it on, spread it thin and buff it off. Same spot in the lineup, new formula, new name.

Ways to use it

• On a dry car. Spray, spread thin and buff off.
• On a wet car as a drying aid. Right after the wash, mist it on the wet panel and dry with your towel for added gloss and slickness.
• Inside and out. Safe on all surfaces, inside and outside the vehicle.
• Alone or as a topper. Use it on its own or over protection that's already on the car.

Ships with a cap. Sprayer not included. The 16 oz bottle and the gallon both ship sealed with a screw cap. Use your own trigger sprayer.

Gallon shipping: Gallon shipping is a sliding scale based on weight. Shipping has gotten expensive lately, and we do our best, but we can't cover all of it and stay in business. Gallon shipping is charged on every order, even orders over $100.

Where it sits in the lineup

We carry three spray sealants. From the top: Katch 22, Unicorn Dust, then AQUA-SLYDE. Katch 22 and Unicorn Dust are SiC-infused. AQUA-SLYDE is the SiO₂ option and the easy entry point. If you want a spray coating, VITRIFY MAX is the only one we carry.

How to use

1. Add your sprayer. Swap the shipping cap for a trigger sprayer. Shake well before each use.
2. Start clean. Wash with AQUA-SUDS. Use it on the dry car, or on the wet car as a drying aid. Work in the shade on a cool surface.
3. Spray and spread. Mist one panel, or the Microsuede Applicator, and spread it thin and even. Don't let it sit and dry.
4. Buff. Buff off with a clean face of The Swiss 16×16 10-Pack, then move to the next panel.
5. Reapply when the beading drops off. Watch how water behaves on the surface, and top up between washes as needed.
