How to choose

  • Applying VITRIFY MAX or Katch 22 from a pad: Microsuede Applicator.
  • Applying Trim Lock or a sealant: Foam Applicator.
  • Paint has light swirls: Finishing Polish on the Aqua Buff Orange pad, 4 to 5 drops per 2 × 2 ft section, then protect.
  • Working outside in the heat: the polish is low-dusting, but work in the shade and keep panels cool.

Questions detailers ask

Microsuede or foam applicator?

The Microsuede Applicator is a lint-free microsuede face on a firm foam block for laying VITRIFY MAX and spray sealants down evenly. The Foam Applicator is a dense closed-cell block for sealant, wax and trim products.

What does the Finishing Polish remove?

Light swirls, fine scratches, oxidation and 2000 to 2500 grit sanding marks. Use it on a dual-action or rotary polisher with a foam pad, 4 to 5 drops per 2 × 2 ft section.

What polisher does the Aqua Buff Orange pad fit?

It is a 5-inch medium-cut pad built for dual-action and rotary polishers.

What do I do after polishing?

Wipe off the residue with The Swiss 16×16, then lock it in with Katch 22 or VITRIFY MAX.

Always test polish and pad combinations on a small section first.
