How to choose

  • Want SiC protection on paint, glass, trim and wheels in one step: VITRIFY MAX. One spray-and-wipe pass.
  • Want an everyday SiC spray sealant for paint: Katch 22, on its own or over an existing coating.
  • Trim is grey, not black: Trim Lock. Apply, dwell about 5 minutes, knock down excess. Keep it off paint.
  • Want protection without a buffing step: AQUA-PHOBIC, mixed with distilled water and rinsed off a wet panel. It is ceramic-infused, not SiC.
  • Want one spray sealant for paint, glass, chrome and trim: Unicorn Dust, on its own or over the others.
  • Texas sun rule for all of them: work in the shade on panels cool to the touch, and buff before product dries.

Questions detailers ask

What is the difference between an SiO₂ spray and an SiC spray?

Both are spray-applied protection. SiO₂ (silica) is the standard chemistry. Silicon carbide (SiC) is a different chemistry, and it is what our flagship sprays are built on. VITRIFY MAX and Katch 22 are our SiC sprays.

Is VITRIFY MAX a ceramic coating?

VITRIFY MAX is an SiC-advanced ceramic spray coating. You mist a panel, spread it and buff it clear. There is no multi-hour install, no leveling and no cure window.

Is AQUA-PHOBIC an SiC product?

No. AQUA-PHOBIC is a ceramic-infused spray-and-rinse sealant concentrate. Mix it with distilled water, apply it to a wet panel and rinse it off within 15 to 30 seconds.

Can I layer these products?

Yes. Katch 22 and Unicorn Dust are spray sealants, and both can go over an existing coating. Trim Lock goes on trim only, and SiC-LARITY on glass only.

Can I apply spray protection in Texas heat?

Yes, with care. Work in the shade on panels that are cool to the touch, one panel at a time, and buff before the product dries. Buff with The Swiss 16×16, not your drying towel.

We do not put a time figure on protection. Results depend on surface prep, climate, driving and wash habits. Reapply when the beading drops off.
