For faded trim. Not for paint. Trim Lock is a silicon carbide (SiC) infused trim coating for exterior plastic, rubber and vinyl. It soaks in; it is not a quick wipe dressing. Silicone-free and dry to the touch.
Grey, chalky trim rolls into our studio every week. Trim Lock is what we use to bring it back to dark without the greasy dressing look that attracts dust.
Trim Lock is our dedicated trim product. Wash the trim with AQUA-SUDS and let it dry fully first. For paint, use Katch 22 or VITRIFY MAX.
How long the trim layer holds depends on your wash routine, weather and prep. Watch how water behaves on the surface and reapply when the beading drops off.

Applied it to the rubber window seals and door seals on my truck. They look new again and the rubber feels protected. Keeps them from drying out and cracking. Unexpected bonus use for this product.
Was expecting this to be complicated but it's straightforward. Apply with an applicator pad, let it cure, done. No buffing, no multiple coats needed. One coat gave me perfect results. The trim on my Highlander looks better than new.
Applied Trim Lock to all the black plastic on my motorcycle — fenders, engine covers, side panels. Everything looks deep black and the finish has held up through rain and highway riding. Great product for bikes.
We have a new 25 Outback Wilderness. The trim on this vehicle is not the usual soft plastic. It came home from the dealer with streaks etc... on the trim. I was wary to put anything on the trim out of fear of making things worse. I didn't want to use a regular ceramic that would just seal in the streaks. After speaking to and trusting Landon, I put Trim Lock on all the trim. Whether it removed or covered, all the streaks, spots are gone and the trim looks perfect! One coat, around 25ml of product.
The black plastic trim on my 2019 4Runner was turning gray and chalky. One application of Trim Lock and it's jet black again. That was 3 months ago and it still looks perfect. No reapplication needed. This stuff is legit.
